June 18th Update: More Work Now, More Stoke Later
Summer is in full swing, but our minds are already on next winter. It’ll be here before we know it, and we’re getting after a handful of projects to make sure the mountain is ready when the snow falls.
Trail Work is in Full Swing
Our crews have been out on the mountain clearing trails, cutting some brush, and keeping everything in shape. It’s the kind of work you may not notice right away, but it makes a big difference when you see the smooth corduroy.
Keeping You On The Mountain Even Longer
If you read our last update, you know lift and snowcat maintenance is also in full swing, and it hasn’t slowed down one bit. These are critical to your on-mountain experience, and we’re working on it all summer long to ensure everything is dialed in.
Expanded Equipment, Greater Support
We’ve expanded our patrol equipment this summer for even better support on the mountain. These upgrades help our team respond more efficiently and effectively, giving you added peace of mind every time you make more memories.
A Fresh Way to Stay Hydrated
We just got approval to install a water fountain complete with a bottle fill-up station. Whether you’re heading out for the day or stopping in between laps, staying hydrated is now quicker and easier than ever.
Laying the Groundwork for the Future
We’ve also been thinking ahead with survey work in accordance with our Master Development Plan.

May 28th Update: Great Winters Start in the Off-Season
Our team is stepping into the summer season with one goal in mind: to make your next winter even better. After wrapping up our longest season to date, we’re already rolling into the next with lift inspections and annual maintenance. Each task is focused on helping you spend more time on the mountain, where you belong.
Snowcats are getting their share of attention, too. These machines play a significant role in building and maintaining the mountain throughout the entire season. From moving snow early in the season to laying down smooth corduroy and shaping features in the park, this off-season work sets us up for better coverage, improved grooming, and more skiing!
From the first chair to the last lap, our goal is simple: keep you shredding more.
Your Winter Doesn’t Have To Wait!
While we continue working to enhance your experience for next winter, summer doesn’t have to end your season. With the Power Pass and Power Pass Select, your 2025/26 pass unlocks 10 FREE interconnected days of skiing at Valle Nevado and La Parva in Chile, home to the largest ski resort network in the Southern Hemisphere.
Even better? The Power Kids Pass includes unlimited skiing at every Power Pass resort including Valle Nevado, La Parva, Willamette Pass, and more for FREE! Check out the mountains they can explore in the upcoming year and get theirs today here.
We’re just getting started. With more summer projects on deck, the Willamette Pass crew is pushing forward to make your next winter even better. Want a front-row seat to all the enhancements?
