Dec 19th Update: It’s Snowing Today!

Our team arrived at the mountain this morning to a beautiful white slope and since then the snow has continued throughout the day! We are stoked to see it finally has arrived and the NOAA forecast is showing the possibility of more on the way.

With colder temperatures and the snow lining up, our crew is fully locked in.  We’re watching for snowmaking windows, farming snow from the parking lots, and doing everything possible to get you back on the mountain as soon as Mother Nature gives the green light.

Keep checking back here for more updates on opening day as this storm cycle moves and if you’re on the fence about grabbing a season pass, consider this your sign! Today is the final day to grab your Power Pass at a discounted price. After midnight, prices will increase to their full rate.

Keep the snow rituals alive, stash the trail maps in the freezer, and stay tuned. Things are finally moving in the right direction.

Dec 17th Update: Storm Cycle Update

We’re seeing snow on the mountain, and we wanted to share a quick conditions update as this system moves through.

According to the latest NOAA forecast, this storm is sitting right on the line between snow and rain. While it’s great to see snow coming down, the forecast remains variable, which makes it difficult to rely on the consistent coverage needed to build a strong base just yet.

No one wants to see you out on the slopes more than our team! We will continue tracking every weather update closely and stay ready to move quickly if this system trends colder or delivers more snow than currently forecasted.

If snow does fall, keeping the resort clear remains important. That space allows our crew to move equipment, farm snow efficiently, and make the most of any accumulation we receive during short weather windows.

The goal hasn’t changed. We want those first turns of the season just as badly as you. Keep checking back here for updates as the forecast evolves and we move closer to welcoming you back to the mountain.

Dec 9th: Where We Stand For Opening Day

We wanted to take a moment to share where things stand with opening day, because we know you are anxiously waiting for that first lap of the season. We feel it too. If we could flip the switch on winter today, we would. So here’s a clear look at what we’re seeing on the mountain and what it will take to get the season started.

This past weekend delivered plenty of precipitation, but not the kind that sticks or helps us build a base. These milder conditions also keep us from making snow, so building coverage will rely on colder temperatures returning. Nobody wants to see those chairs spinning more than our crew does, but until we get those colder temps and a little help from Mother Nature, we’re sad to share that our scheduled opening day will be moving back.

Our team will continue watching the weather nonstop, and the second temperatures dip back into range, we’ll be ready to fire up snowmaking again. To get the mountain open, we typically need a few steady days of cold, consistent temps paired with a boost from Mother Nature. Once winter settles in, things can shift fast.

We’re just as eager as you are to get back on the slopes. The new opening day will be confirmed as soon as winter gives us the coverage we need. In the meantime, tickets will stay live starting on the 19th so you keep access to early pricing while we stay optimistic and watch for the cold snap that can get things moving fast.

Until the shift arrives, do your snow rituals and keep cold thoughts in mind. Check back here for all the updates as we keep pushing toward getting you back on the slopes.

As always,

Ski It. Ride It. Live It.

Dec 1st Update: Snowmaking Is Underway!

Our team fired up the snowmaking machines as soon as temperatures dipped last night. This was the kind of window we’ve been waiting for, and the crew wasted zero time getting after it. The moment conditions lined up, they were out there laying down snow and starting to build the foundation for our season.

The latest NOAA forecast shows temperatures climbing into the mid-40s today, which means we expect a short pause in snowmaking. It’s not the ideal weather pattern, but the team is already eyeing the colder pockets NOAA is calling for later this week. If those temperatures drop into range, we’ll be right back at it.

Every department is pushing hard to get you on the slopes as soon as conditions allow. We will not make promises the forecast cannot support, but we will keep you informed and keep things moving toward winter.

Check back soon for further updates. As the weather shifts, we will be ready to capitalize on every opportunity to welcome you back as soon as possible.
