Spring Skiing at Willamette Pass
Spring is just around the corner, but winter is kicking at Willamette Pass. This season has delivered 194 inches of snowfall, including 72 inches in February alone. With a 56-inch base depth, the mountain is primed for some of the best skiing and riding of the year.
March is historically one of our snowiest months—just two seasons ago, we saw 120 inches of snowfall in March alone. That means more snow, bluebird days, and plenty of reasons to hit the slopes this spring. Here’s why you don’t want to miss the best time of the season!
Warmer Weather
Spring skiing typically brings milder weather, fewer layers, and longer, more enjoyable days on the mountain. The sun is out, the air is crisp, and it’s the perfect time to carve up the slopes without battling the shorter, cold days of the winter.
Softer Turns Are Ahead
Spring conditions bring softer snow, making for smoother turns, easier control, and gentler landings. Whether you’re perfecting your technique or just out for some fun, the forgiving conditions make for a great ride with friends and family!
