Willamette Pass General FAQs

How do I exchange my purchase?

How to Exchange Your Purchase:

  • Open your original confirmation email with the subject “Your Purchase (Web Sale #)”.
  • Click on the purchaser’s name (above the address). This will take you into your online portal without needing to sign in.
  • At the top of the screen, click “Purchases” and select “Exchange” from the dropdown.
  • You’ll see all items eligible for exchange. Select each item you’d like to cancel.
  • After the exchange is complete, go to the “Resort Credit” tab to view your credit details.

Important:

  • Exchanges must be completed by 11:59 PM the night before your ticket or reservation date.
  • Ticket, rental, and lesson prices may vary from your original purchase.
  • Resort credits expire April 30, 2026.

How to Use Your Resort Credit

  1. Once your credit has been issued
  2. Open your “Your Purchase (Web Sale #)” confirmation email.
  3. Click the purchaser’s name to enter your online portal.
  4. Select “Resort Credit” at the top of the screen.
  5. You’ll see your swipe number and PIN.
  6. When making a new purchase online, choose “Gift Card” at checkout and enter the swipe number and PIN.

Do you allow sledding or snow tubing?

We DO NOT allow sledding or snow tubing on our mountain as it can cause danger to the sledder as well as others.

We do offer a FREE Snow Experience Orientation for those looking to learn more about skiing or snowboarding. We also have Nordic Skiing trails on the western side of our main parking lot with with nordic tickets and rentals available in the lodge.

How far is Willamette Pass from Eugene?

Willamette Pass is the closest resort to Eugene. Driving time varies on road conditions but you can typically expect a little over an hour of driving from Eugene.

How do I know what trails are open?

All of our weather updates can be found here. We also recommend following our socials, subscribing to our newsletter, and signing up for text alerts to stay up to date with everything happening.

What are your hours of operation?

When does the ski season start?

Our scheduled opening day for the 2025/26 winter is December 12, 2025. However, we will open earlier if we have a sufficient snowpack.

Willamette Pass Lift Ticket FAQs

What’s Shred it Credit?

Shred It Credit is our resort credit designed to give you a little extra during your visit! This perk applies only to select dates when tickets are purchased before 11:59 PM the day prior to your visit.

Here’s how it works:

  • The credit is emailed to you the morning of your visit.
  • After receiving, be sure to screenshot the message for easy access during the day.

You can use Shred It Credit on the day of your visit for:

  • Food and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Rentals
  • Lessons
  • Gear at our retail shop

Be sure to use it before the day is done—Shred It Credit is only valid during your visit.

Shred It Credit valid on select dates and ticket purchases over $10. Check out our calendar below to see what days include resort credit when you purchase in advance!

What’s variable pricing?

Variable pricing is our way of offering an affordable lift ticket for skiing while still managing the amount of people on the mountain. Simply put, if you book in advance you’ll get a better deal on your ski day.

How much does a ticket at the window cost?

Day of ticket purchases are dependent on the amount of people who pre-purchased a ticket. It’s always best to book your tickets online as soon as you decide on a day you would like to ski. This ensures you get the best deal available.

What are reloadable cards?

Reloadable cards are distributed at guest services daily throughout the season. Be sure to keep yours once you receive it! This card will hold your lift ticket for every visit to our mountain.

How to setup your reloadable card:

  1. Grab a card at guest services.
  2. Find the confirmation email sent to you upon your lift ticket purchase.
  3. Click the “activate now” button.
  4. Enter the pass number from the front of your card. It should be right below the barcode.
  5. Enter the pin number located on the back of the card.
  6. Click the activate purchase button.

Do you offer half day tickets?

With variable pricing, we only have full day tickets to purchase starting as low as $19 when you book ahead of time.

How do I purchase rentals and lessons with my lift ticket?

Our tickets, rentals, and lessons are all purchased through the same store link. After selecting your day you wish to visit you will also be asked about rentals and lessons.

If you only wish to purchase a rental or lesson, remove the lift ticket after arriving to the check out in the webstore.

How do I purchase rentals and lessons ahead of time?

Our tickets, rentals, and lessons are all purchased through the same store link. After selecting your day you wish to visit you will also be asked about rentals and lessons.

To book only lessons and/or rentals without the purchase of a lift ticket, select the day you wish to book your lesson or rentals on our calendar. On the next page, make sure to uncheck the box next to the ticket option if it is selected. This will remove the ticket from the transaction. Proceed with selecting your rentals and/or lessons.

Do you guys offer repairs and services?

Our repairs and services are limited to waxing.

Wax futures are $40.

Hot waxing is $25.

Roll On Wax is $10

When are weekend and holiday dates?

Where is the rental shop located?

​​Located on the first floor of our lodge. As you walk through the front doors you will see rentals to your right and the guest service counter to the left.

Can I switch rentals during the day?

You are more than welcome to switch rentals throughout the day when you are visiting! This will be an extra $10 charge if you choose to switch.

What’s Nordic?

Nordic is cross country skiing. Willamette pass offers 15km of cross country skiing trails. Check them out below.

Willamette Pass Lesson FAQs

What lessons are available?

At Willamette Pass, we offer lessons for anyone ages 4 and up. Lesson options to choose from include group lessons, kids camps, private lessons, or our FREE Snow Experience Orientation. Explore more details with the link below.

How do I only purchase a rental or lessons without a lift ticket?

To book only lessons and/or rentals without the purchase of a lift ticket, select the day you wish to book your lesson or rentals on our calendar. On the next page, make sure to uncheck the box next to the ticket option if it is selected. This will remove the ticket from the transaction. Proceed with selecting your rentals and/or lessons.

What age do you need to be for a lesson?

At Willamette Pass, we offer lessons for anyone ages 4 and up.

When should I arrive for a lesson?

We highly recommend arriving at least an hour before the start time. This allows time for you to grab your lift ticket, rentals, and run to the restroom if needed.

Are tickets and rentals included in the lesson?

Tickets and rentals are not included with the price of the lesson. Tickets and rentals must be added online at the time of purchase.

Why is there a FREE lesson?

The FREE Snow Experience Lesson is our way of helping people that are brand new to the sport of skiing. This lesson goes through the fundamentals of getting onto the mountain such as where to find rentals and how to fit them onto your feet. All you have to do is come to our guest services counter on the first floor and we help you from there!

What should I know before a lesson?

  • Allow enough time prior to check-in to get fitted for gear if you have rentals. Have your child use the restroom, and be dressed ready to ski/ride.
  • Lessons start on time, so please be ready at the check in area no later than 15 minutes before your lesson start time. If you miss your scheduled lesson, you may be asked to come back at a later time based on availability. Availability is not guaranteed. 
  • Groups will be formed based on ability and age.
  • Sick and contagious children will not be admitted.
  • All lessons are subject to availability. If the day or time you would like to reserve is unavailable, check availability for another day or time.
