Big news, Willamette Pass community—we’re not done with winter yet! After an amazing year full of deep powder days and early morning corduroy laps, we’re excited to announce that we’re officially extending our season through Sunday, May 4th. That means the mountain will now be open for two extra days in May (the 3rd and 4th), putting us on track for the longest winter season in Willamette Pass history.
A Season Worth Remembering
This season has been special from the start. We opened earlier than we have since 2001 and had 100% of our terrain open by the end of November—a feat we haven’t accomplished in decades. And when 75 inches of snow fell last month, our mountain operations team went into overdrive, working around the clock to extend the life of our snowpack and make this historic season possible.
From moving snow around strategic areas to creating and maintaining a strong base, our crew has gone above and beyond to keep the mountain covered and ready for bonus laps. Their dedication, combined with Mother Nature’s generosity, has allowed us to offer more ski days, more memories, and more of what makes Willamette Pass feel like home.
