Welcome back, Midway Lift!

Midway Chairlift is back in action!

Now Open 9 AM to 4 PM!

One of the resort’s iconic features, the Midway Chairlift, holds a storied history that dates back to its installation in 1987. After gracing the mountain for nearly three decades, the chairlift was decommissioned in 2015. However, thanks to the resort’s new partnership and their vision to provide the freedom to ski, the Midway Chairlift is back in action!

The lift reopened on January 11, 2024, and now offers a renewed sense of thrill to skiers and riders. The fixed grip triple chair mirrors the Twilight Chairlift, maintaining a familiar charm while enhancing uphill capacity.

The Midway Chairlift will continue playing an integral part of the skiing experience at Willamette Pass, reducing lift lines, and allowing for easier laps in the park.

So, whether you’re a seasoned rider or a first-timer, head to Willamette Pass Resort, strap on your gear, and experience the renewed sense of freedom that the Midway Chairlift brings to the slopes. The mountains are calling, and the Midway Chairlift is ready to elevate your winter adventure to new heights.
